Article XI - Budgetary Commitments
- Section A - Standing Commitments: The Booster Club will commit to financial support for the following Dance Department Activities. Additional financial support to all other endeavors will be determined each year according to the dance department’s needs and the approved budget.

- One fine arts Dance Department Spring Concert
- One Sweethearts Spring Show (generally in the spring)
- One fine arts Dance Department end of year luncheon
- One Sweethearts end of year banquet
- Section B - Compliance: In supporting these activities it is agreed the director(s) will coordinate and plan the event and then present any requests to the booster club for monetary amounts to help offset costs. In some cases, the booster club can make direct payments to vendors more easily due to approved vendor restrictions on the director(s). In those cases, the booster Club will pay the non approved vendor(s) directly. In any case, no money shall be collected nor requested by the booster club from any student directly. It is our recommendation that the Booster Club apply to become an approved vendor for the directors so money can change hands between the organizations while planning events leaving the directors as the only approved avenue for student payments.

This includes support for any approved budgetary commitments, operating expenses, activities, programs and strategic initiatives consistent with the Woodrow Dance Company Boosters and Guild mission and goals. - Section C - Services: For instances where the booster club will be providing a service directly to the students but will not be solely supporting the activity (i.e. meal plans), all money will be collected solely from parents/guardians. No money will be collected, nor requested from any student directly. Verification and confirmations of payments must be sent to parents prior to activities to ensure no student is overlooked.
- Section D - Assistance: The Booster Club will offer help to individual students in need when possible.

These bylaws may be altered or amended by majority vote of the Executive Board at a board, or regular business meeting. The intent to alter or amend these bylaws, as well as proposed changes, must be announced prior to the meeting date.
