The Woodrow Wilson Dance Booster is continuing its Sponsorship Drive for the 2025-2026 school year and is looking for the support of businesses and individuals in the community to help reach its goals.
With the determination and dedication of our amazing student leaders, and help from parent volunteers, our team is in the process of rebuilding the program. Our goal is to have the equipment and costumes that put us on level with any of the dance programs in Texas. To support this effort, we are hoping to raise $15,000, which would allow us to purchase additional costumes for our Sweethearts, as well as props and equipment for our Dance Company to use in our fall and spring shows.
After these challenging times of uncertainty, our kids have shown us their resilience and we are hoping that the East Dallas community can show them the same level of resolve with its support.
Our Dance Department is full of gifted, dedicated and hard-working individuals who practice year-round to prepare for performances at varsity football games, local events, and dance productions. All these activities require a number of supplies and equipment that DISD is not able to provide. The fees for practice wear, summer camp, costumes, entry fees, travel, game day meals, etc. add up quickly, and these items are necessary for the flawless performances that Woodrow Dance Department is widely known for.
